Kristi Bitz, PhD, serves as Associate Professor and Director of the Psychology Program at the University of Mary.

Before earning her PhD in Teaching and Learning from the University of North Dakota, Dr. Bitz earned a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Dakota, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Valley City State University. Dr. Bitz’s prior experience includes 11 years of service as a school counselor in K-12 public education, working as a vocational rehabilitation consultant, and serving as a university counselor and director of student retention.
