David Ronderos, PhD, is an associate professor of biology and fellow in Catholic Studies at the University of Mary, where he has taught courses on anatomy and physiology, hematology, cell and molecular biology, HHMI SEA-PHAGES, evolution, and the integration of knowledge. Dr. Ronderos is a member of the Society of Catholic Scientists.

Ronderos holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His current research interests include the visual system and the use of electrophysiology, microscopy, and molecular methods in understanding the genes linked to blindness or other visual impairments.
